A 22-year-old social media star named Jessica Flores wanders into the lobby of a five-star hotel in Miami wearing next to nothing and covered in blood at 5:43 am on a Tuesday. Fourteen floors above her is her fitness influencer boyfriend Jaxson Adeoye, dead from two stab wounds. What unfolds from there is a modern fairy tale of love, jealousy, revenge, and murder amongst social media celebrities, told through an ocean of “is-it-real” audio from the week leading up to Jaxson’s death. 

But what begins as a sensational true-crime story set in the glitzy social media world of Miami Beach, begins to track back twenty years and two thousand miles to a secret held amongst a group of five friends at a rural Bible Camp in Prescott Arizona. A shocking secret that asks: what happens when the skeletons of our past, kept private in the analog world, come alive in a digital one? What will we do to keep them hidden?
